Pokemon Go Ultra Beast Protection Efforts Special Research Quest

Trainers, the Team Go Rocket takeover is an upcoming event in Pokemon Go and you will have a chance to battle and defeat TGR Leaders Arli, Cliff, Sierra, and the TGR Boss Giovanni. They will be using different Shadow Pokemon lineups and you save Shadow Mewtwo.

The Team Go Rocket takeover event starts on November 14, 2022, at 12 am, and will end on November 17, 2022, at 8 pm local time. During this period, Pokemon Go players will be facing Team Go Rocket Leaders Arlo, Cliff, and Sierra, and battle the Team Go Rocket Boss Giovanni. The Team Go Rocket Shadow Pokemon lineups will change, meaning they will be using different Shadow Pokemon this time.

A new Special Research story will be available at the beginning of this event. Progress through it to receive a Super Rocket Radar, and chase down Giovanni.  The Special Research will be available to claim until the end of the Season of Light on December 1, 2022, at 10:00 am local time.
