Pokemon Go Ultra Beast Protection Efforts Team Go Rocket Special Research Quest

Trainers, the Team Go Rocket takeover event has started and a new Special Research called Ultra Beast Protection Efforts is now available for everyone.

The new Ultra Beast Protection Efforts Special Research is part of the Team Go Rocket takeover event that runs from November 14 to November 17, 2022. During this period Team Go Rocket Leaders Arlos, Cliff, and Sierra will be spawning more often and will be using different Shadow Pokemon lineups.

The new Ultra Beast Protection Efforts Special Research has four different steps, each stage offering different tasks, rewards, and Pokemon encounters. By completing the quest, players will get a Super Rocket Radar that can be used to challenge, battle, and beat Giovanni and save Shadow Mewtwo

Ultra Beast Protection Efforts Research Tasks Rewards

Ultra Beast Protection Efforts Special Research Step 1

• Defeat 6 TGR Grunts: 10 Hyper Potion
• Catch 4 Shadow Pokemon: 10 Poke Ball
• Purify 2 Shadow Pokemon: 10 Pinap Berries
• Rewards: 2000 XP, 15 Great Ball, and 1 Rocket Radar

Ultra Beast Protection Efforts Special Research Step 2

• Defeat Arlo: 1500 XP
• Defeat Cliff: 1500 XP
• Defeat Sierra: 1500 XP
• Rewards: 2500 XP, 1000 Stardust, and 1 Super Rocket Radar

• Find Giovanni: 5 Max Potion
• Battle Giovanni: 20 Ultra Ball
• Defeat Giovanni: 5 Max Revive
• Rewards: 3000 XP, 1 Lucky Egg, and 2 Golden Razz Berry

• Claim Reward: 2500 XP
• Claim Reward: 2500 XP
