It took us by surprise when we learnt about the exit of Bravely Default: Brilliant Lights, and this is happening nearly a year after its official launch.
The sad news was announced by Square Enix, who stated that they will no longer be able to keep Bravely Default: Brilliant Lights alive, and decided to stop services for the game beginning February 28th, 2023.
As for the “Mythril” sales, they will no longer be available. The players that used theirs, can continue using it until February 28th, 2023, while the ones that haven’t used it will be refunded at a date announced by Square Enix. Some content will be added (including the final chapter and a few event quests), but that will be it for Bravely Default: Brilliant Lights.
Truly sad. Make the most out of Bravely Default: Brilliant Lights while you still can, before it turns into (digital) ashes.
