Escape From Tarkov pre-wipe event #5 introduces explosive ammo

Did you think that explosive ammunition exists only in Modern Warfare 2? It appears that Battlestate Games can also implement such a projectile in Escape From Tarkov. It’s not a word about replication, but a rather invention that would later traverse as a default option to some of the bosses in the Norvinsk region.

At the moment, the ammo can only be crafted in the Hideout, which in translation, needs the purchase of the mandatory goodies from the Flea Market. Therefore, the auction house might be plagued with crafting materials with insanely high prices due to the increased demand.

According to a streamer and known Tarkov leaker, LogicalSolutions, there are 3 new explosive slugs added to the game.

  • 20/70 Elephant killer slug
  • 20/70 Flechetta Plus
  • 20/70 Explosive slug

Apparently, this type of ammunition works only with the TOZ-106 20ga MTs 20-01 Sb.3. Are you excited to use this ammunition and maul some human players or AI?

Escape From Tarkov is nearing wipe, and we’re already in the second half of December, which is considered to be a bit late. Taken into consideration the timeline, the next wipe would likely introduce us to a Christmas event that will grant various of benefits to human players.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
