Escape From Tarkov’s 8th Pre-Wipe Event shuffles the loot around

Escape From Tarkov is probably the most realistic yet hardcore shooter on planet earth. However, Escape From Tarkov hasn’t been that hardcore recently due to its loot overflow on each map. Now, the tables have turned, and people are struggling to find loot across the Tarkov territory.

This is the 8th Tarkov event that removes the loot from most of the maps, and it stashes them at particular POIs. This means the loot is shuffled around, making hot spawns cold and vice versa. For example, if you queue on Factory, you will find a variety of items (high-value items, too) laid down on weird spots across the whole map.

So far, we have found the following places being flooded by valuable loot.

  • Factory – Underground, below med tents
  • Lighthouse – Water Treatment Helicopter Site
  • Customs – Skeleton building
  • Shoreline – Before Resort Entrance
  • Interchange – around Kiba
  • Reserve – Helicopter
  • Labs – Cat Statue Area
  • Woods – Medical Camp

The event was announced on Battlestate Games’ official Twitter profile. Below you can find the full transcript:
Hello wolf, where is all the loot? I can’t find anything for a second day.
You thought it was unlimited? There are a couple of good places here, the rest is empty.
Let me know where to look then. I’ll be sure to share. Over.

With this event, Battlestate Games might be testing out a new loot delivery, known as dynamic loot. This has been in the works for the past couple of years and may finally settle through.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
