Pokemon Go Catch Cards and How To Make Catch Cards

Pokemon Go has gotten a new feature, which is expected to be used a lot by players who want to showcase their hard conquests to other players.

Titled Catch Cards, this new feature in Pokemon Go allows players to brag about their possessions to the Pokemon world, and all that is for free. Anybody can create their own Catch Card from whichever Pokemon they desire.

Each Catch Card contains the name of the Pokemon, the location it was caught at, which ball the Trainer used to seize the Pokemon and its CP. At the centre of the Catch Card, there will be an image of the Pokemon the Trainer chooses to make a Catch Card out of. If you do not want that generic image, you can use the AR feature in Pokemon Go and use that picture instead. However, if your chosen Pokemon has an effect such as the Purified or Shadow Pokemon have, those screen effects will only appear if you use the AR feature.

But, how to make a Catch Card?

First and foremost, you need to know which Pokemon you want to make a Catch Card out of. When you have this in mind, select the Pokemon, and search for the button that displays three lines. It should be in the bottom right corner. Once you find the button, click on it, and select Catch Card. This next move is optional, and it is only if you want to change the image display of the Catch Card. If you want to change it, click on Take Snapshot and you can use your AR image. Now that the picture is “cooked”, you can share it with other trainers by clicking the arrow in the bottom right corner.

Keep in mind that these are not collectables, and you can create as many Catch Cards as you want, or can. If you wish, you can make a dozen Catch Cards from the same Pokemon.

How many Catch Cards did you make so far? Do you like this feature? Tell us in the comments below.
