Trainers, the new Winter Holiday event is underway and new Field Research tasks are now available in Pokemon Go.
The annual Winter Holiday event has two different parts, each part offering different Pokemon encounters, Raid Bosses, bonuses, and a new set of Field Research tasks and rewards. Part 1 of the Winter Holiday 2022 event brings new event-themed Field Research tasks and completing these tasks will lead you to encounters with Pikachu wearing a Winter Carnival outfit, Alolan Vulpix, Seel, Shellder, Jynx, Stantler wearing a holiday outfit, Spheal wearing a holiday outfit, Crabrawler, Sneasel, and Glaceon wearing an Undersea Holiday outfit.

Winter Holiday 2022 Field Research
- Catch 5 different species of Pokemon: Holiday Spheal, Holiday Stantler
- Catch 7 Ice-type Pokemon: Seel, Shellder
- Catch 7 different species of Pokemon: Jynx
- Hatch an Egg: Sneasel
- Open 5 Gifts: Alolan Vulpix
- Send 3 Gifts with a Sticker: 25 Abomasnow Mega Energy, Crabrawler
- Send 5 Gifts: Pikachu wearing a Winter Carnival outfit
- Win a Raid: Glaceon wearing an Undersea Holiday outfit
