Trainers, Niantic and Pokemon Go announced Part 2 of the Winter Holiday event, and trust me, it looks promising.
Winter Holiday Part 2 runs from Friday, December 23, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Saturday, December 31, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time. During this time, Pokemon Go players will have a chance to catch Eevee, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon wearing holiday hats, evolve Cubchoo wearing a holiday ribbon into Beartic wearing a holiday ribbon, and store up to 40 Gifts until the end of the event. Pokemon Go players can also choose between several bonuses as a reward for the Timed Research.
Niantic and Pokemon Go also announced a new one-day event called Winter Wonderland from Saturday, December 24, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, December 25, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
During the Pokemon o Winter Wonderland event, players can do one extra special trade per day and Daily Adventure Incense activated during the event will last for 30 minutes.
The number of guaranteed Lucky Pokemon a Trainer can receive in a trade has been increased from 10 to 15! And starting now, if you trade a Pokemon that has spent time in a Trainer’s Pokemon storage since 2017, it is guaranteed to become a Lucky Pokemon until the limit is reached! This change is permanent and will stay active going forward.
Pokemon Go players can also complete the Winter Wonderland Collection Challenge by Sunday, December 25, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time to encounter a Galarian Mr. Mime and receive XP and an Incense.
A Hisuian Avalug Raid Day is also on the way and will start on Saturday, December 24, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. During the Raid Day Hisuian Avalugg will appear more frequently in raids, you can earn up to five additional daily Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs, and enjoy an increased chance of encountering Shiny Hisuian Avalugg.
For last, there will be a ticketed Timed Research, and by completing it you will receive an event-themed avatar pose, Two Incubators, one Incense, Abomasnow Mega Energy, and various event-themed Pokémon encounters.
