Trainers, the Winter Holidays are on the way and Niantic and Pokemon Go are celebrating the winter season with a new special in-game event called Winter Holiday 2022.
The Winter Holiday 2022 has two different parts, each part featuring different Pokemon encounters, bonuses, Raid Bosses, Timed Research tasks, and other cool stuff. The first part of the event runs from December 15, 2022, at 10 AM to December 23, 2022, at 10 AM local time.
The Winter Holiday Part 1 brings Mega Glalie into the game, 50% more XP for winning Raid Battles, up to 40 Gifts until the end of the event, new Timed Research, different Pokemon will have increased spawn rate in the wild, you can hatch different Pokemon from 7 KM Eggs, battle new Raid Bosses, learn new moves, and purchase new avatar items.
Now that we know what the Winter Holiday has to offer, we would like to focus on the Winter Holiday Timed Research and the ticket.
The Winter Holiday Timed Research is a new Research introduced in Pokemon Go as part of the annual Winter Holiday event. It has four different parts, each part offering different tasks, rewards, and Pokemon encounters. To access the Winter Holiday Timed Research you must get a ticket. This ticket will automatically activate to give you access to Timed Research from December 15-31, wherever you are.
Please note that Timed Research will expire. The tasks associated with Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before Saturday, December 31, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
The Winter Holiday Timed Research rewards include an event-themed avatar pose, two Incubators, one Incense, Abomasnow Mega Energy, and various event-themed Pokemon encounters.
