We get another look at the Steyr AUG coming to Tarkov

We’re getting close to a Tarkov wipe, and with that, we have plenty of novelties to comb through when it lands. But today, the COO of Battlestate Games, Nikita, shared an image of a fully decked Steyr AUG coming to Escape From Tarkov with the next wipe.

The Steyr AUG is an upcoming bullpup weapon coming to the realistic first-person shooter, Escape From Tarkov. The Steyr AUG was showcased on August 11. The Steyr AUG uses 5.56×45mm NATO ammo, and its composition of accessible modifications might imbue a new meta within the Tarkov region.

The weapon will arrive with an in-built 1.5x optic, one of the positive characteristics that will allow players to engage in fights at slightly larger distances without investing in additional equipment and gun modifications. Needless to say, it will be fully capable of modding, as shown in the picture shared by Nikita today.

Escape From Tarkov is nearing a wipe, and all its residents are about to start anew. Together with it, a new Streets of Tarkov map, new guns, features, and plenty of other things are about to become accessible. Not to mention, a reason for players to give up on gear fear and play the game as it should be played.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
