Trainers, the Crackling Voltage is a new event in Pokemon Go featuring shiny Tapu Koko, shiny Helioptile, different Raids Bosses, different Pokemon in 7 km Eggs, and new Field Research tasks and encounters.
The Crackling Voltage starts on January 27, 2023, and ends on February 5, 2023. During this period players will have a chance to complete new Field Research tasks and encounter different Pokemon and their shiny forms.
There are four new Field Research tasks that one can complete during the Crackling Voltage event and encounter Plusle, Minun, Voltorb, Hisuian Voltorb, Helioptile, and Emolga.
Here are all the tasks and encounters.
Crackling Voltage Field Research Tasks Encounters
- Catch 5 Pokemon: Plusle, and Minun, both can be shiny
- Power up a Pokemon 3 times: Voltorb can be shiny, and Hisuain Voltorb
- Power up a Pokemon 5 times: Helioptile can be shiny
- Walk 3 km: Emolga
Make sure to participate and get yourself a new shiny Pokemon.
