Pokemon Go Egg Hatching Widget iOS and Android

Trainers, the Pokemon Go New Year’s 2023 event is underway and new event-exclusive bonuses are live in the game.

The last event in Pokemon Go for this year runs from December 31, 2022, at 8 PM, to January 4, 2023, at 8 PM local time featuring new costume Pokemon, different Pokemon hatching from 7 KM eggs, new Field Research tasks, different Pokemon in Raids, new Collection Challenge, and new event-exclusive bonuses.

During the New Year 2023 event in Pokemon Go, players can enjoy 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in an Incubator during the event period, and 1/4 Hatch Distance for the first three Eggs hatched during the event using the Pokemon Go Egg hatching widget.

If you want to track your progress towards certain objectives, like hatching Eggs or earning Buddy Candy, you can add a helpful widget to your device’s home screen. These widgets will allow you to see your progress toward these objectives at a glance.

Additionally, tapping them will bring you to the relevant screen in Pokemon Go.

Note that these widgets work best when you have Adventure Sync enabled.

Pokemon Go Egg Hatching Widget iOS

  • From your Home Screen, tap and hold a widget or an empty area until the apps jiggle
  • Tap the Add button in the upper-left corner
  • Select the Pokemon Go widget, then tap Add Widget
  • Tap Done

You can also add Pokemon Go widgets to your Today View by swiping left from your home screen and following the above steps.

  • On a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space
  • Tap Widgets
  • Tap and hold the Pokemon Go widget. You’ll get images of your Home screens
