Pokemon Go January 2023 Community Day Classic to Bring Larvitar

Trainers, Niantic and Pokemon Go announced the next Community Day Classic on January 21, 2023, featuring Larvitar, shiny LArvitar, new move, Special Research, and a lot of other cool stuff.

The next Community Day Classic event in Pokemon Go goes live on Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Pokemon Go players will have a chance to catch Larvitar, its shiny forms, and to evolve Pupitar (Larvitar’s Evolution) during the event or up to two hours afterward – from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. – to get a Tyranitar that knows the Fast Attack Smack Down.

The Larvitar Community Day Classic also brings new pay-to-play Special Research, 3× XP for catching Pokemon, Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours, Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
