Pokemon Go January 2023 Field Research, List of All Tasks and Rewards

Trainers, a new month has begun which means we are getting different Field Research tasks, rewards, and encounters throughout January 2023.

As a new month begins, a new set of Field Research tasks come to Pokemon Go. January 2023 is here, and that means that Pokemon Go players can complete a new set of Field Research tasks and earn new rewards that come from completing them. Each month Pokemon Go players have a chance to complete different Field Research tasks to earn cool rewards and collect seven stamps for the Research Breakthrough encounter.

By collecting the seven stamps in January 2023, players will have a chance to encounter one of the following Pokemon: Galarian Mr.Mime, Delibird, Bagon, Deino, Natural Furfrou, or Goomy. Galarian Mr.Mime, Delibird, Bagon, Deino, and Natural Furfrou can be encountered shiny, while shiny Goomy is not available yet.

Now, let’s take a look at the complete list of Field Research tasks and rewards for January 2023.

  • Catch 5 Pokemon:  Jigglypuff, Clefairy
  • Win a raid: Mawile
  • Battle in GBL: Marrill
  • Send 5 Gifts with stickers: Plusle, Minun
  • Earn 3 Hearts: Buneary
  • Trade a Pokemon: Dedenne
  • Hatch an Egg: Togedemaru
  • Catch 3 Shadow Pokemon: Purrloin
  • Make an Excellent Throw: Emolga
  • Catch 5 Electric-type Pokemon: Flaafy
  • Use 5 berries to catch a Pokemon: Bunnelby
  • Power up Pokemon 10 times: 25 Mega Aggron Energy
  • Catch 5 Pokemon with Weather Boost: Poliwag, Vulpix, Hippopotas, Snover
  • Catch 7 Pokemon: Magikarp
  • Catch a Dragon-type Pokemon: Bagon, Dratini
  • Catch 10 Grass-type Pokemon: 10 Venusaur Mega Energy
  • Catch 10 Fire-type Pokemon: 10 Charizard Mega Energy
  • Catch 10 Water-type Pokemon: 10 Blastoise Mega Energy
  • Catch 10 Normal-type Pokemon: 10 Pidgeot Mega Energy
  • Make 5 Nice Throws: Dunsparce

  • Make 3 Great Throws in a row: Onix

  • Make 3 Excellent Throws in a row: Gible
  • Earn 2 Candies walking with your buddy: Bunnelby
  • Earn 3 Candies walking with your buddy: Stunfisk
  • Win a Level 3 or higher raid: Kabuto, Omanyte
  • Win 5 raids: Aerodactyl
  • Evolve a Pokemon: Eevee
  • Hatch an Egg: Mantine
  • Hatch 2 Eggs: Beldum
  • Spin 3 Pokestops or Gyms: Sudowoodo

  • Take a snapshot of a wild Pokemon: Murkrow, Hoppip, Yanma
