Trainers, the Lunar New Year 2023 has started and a new Timed Research: Lucky Wishes is now available in the game. This is a branching Timed Research, which means you can choose your own path.
The Pokemon Go Lunar New Year 2023 event is a new event introduced in Pokemon Go featuring many cool features and bonuses. Pokemon Go players can also access and participate in a new Timed Research called Lucky Wishes. Lucky Wishes is a branching Timed Research, where players can choose their own path. The path you choose will determine which tasks and rewards you have for the event.
These types of quests are also known as branching quests, where players can choose different paths and experience their own story.
No matter which wish you pick, all Trainers who complete the research will receive a Lucky Egg and other items. They will also have the opportunity to encounter Magikarp, Azumarill, Combusken, Darumaka, Galarian Darumaka, and Bunnelby. Magikarp, Darumaka, Galarian Darumaka, and Bunnelby can be shiny, while Azumarill and Combusken’s shiny forms are not yet released in the game.

- Spin 3 PokeStops or Gyms: 10 Great Ball

- Rewards: 500 Stardust, 500 XP, and 1 Lucky Egg

- Catch 10 Pokemon: Bunnelby
- Catch 25 Pokemon: Magikarp
- Catch 8 different Pokemon species:Â Combusken
- Hatch 3 Eggs: Galarian Darumaka

- Rewards: Darumaka, and Egg Incubator
Using Daily Adventure Incense 2/2
- Catch 10 Pokemon: Bunnelby
- Catch 25 Pokemon: Magikarp
- Catch 8 different Pokemon species:Â Combusken
- Earn 25,000 Exp: Galarian Darumaka
- Send 25 Gifts to Friends: Azumarill
- Rewards: Darumaka, and Incense
Collecting Stardust 2/2
- Catch 10 Pokemon: Bunnelby

- Earn 7,500 Stardust: Galarian Darumaka
