Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour Tynamo 2x Catch Candy Shiny Tynamo Not Available (January 24, 2023)

Trainers, the next Spotlight Hour starts today, and for a limited time, you will see more Tynamo spawning in the wild. Pokemon Go’s Tynamo Spotlight Hour also brings 2x Catch Candy. Unfortunately, shiny Tynamo is not yet released in the game, and therefore Tynamo’s shiny form is not available to encounter during the event.

Tynamo Spotlight Hour starts today, January 24, 2023, and for one hour, from 6-7 PM local time, Pokemon Go players will have a chance to catch Tynamo and earn 2x Candy for catching Pokemon. Niantic and Pokemon Go released an infographic where Tynamo had the shiny mark, meaning Tynamo can be shiny during the Spotlight Hour, but shortly after they deleted it and posted the same infographic without the shiny mark.

Pokemon Go players were hoping for shiny Tynamo because it’s the only interesting thing about the Tynamo Spotlight Hour, but now, players are saying they are no longer interested in participating in the event and don’t want to waste their time catching Tynamo.
