Pokemon Go Storage and Item Bag Capacity to Increase by +50

Update: Trainers, Pokemon Go’s Pokemon, and item storage have been increased by 50 to 6250 and 5250 respectively.

Previous Story: Trainers, Niantic and Pokemon Go are increasing the Pokemon Storage and Item Bag capacity, but don’t get so excited because it’s again +50.

Niantic and Pokemon Go announced that they will increase the Pokemon Go Storage and Item Bag capacity prior to the Pokemon Go Tour Hoenn Las Vegas event. They confirmed they are increasing the capacity by +50. With all the features, bonuses, shiny Pokemon, and new Shadow forms, +50 is not enough. Players are not very happy about this and expected to see higher numbers.

The max Pokemon storage is now 6250, while the max Item Bag storage is 5250.

They will be also adding new music inspired by Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire. These pieces were created by Junichi Masuda, Pokemon video game series composer and Chief Creative Fellow of The Pokemon Company.

Pokemon Storage and Item Bag Capacity Increase

Pokemon Storage capacity: 6,200 -> 6,250
Item Bag capacity: 5,200 -> 5,250
