EA Motive wants to continue its work on the Dead Space franchise

After an overwhelmingly positive response to the Dead Space remake, speculation is already rife about what comes next for this iconic franchise. Motive Studio has promised they have ideas in store and are certainly keen on continuing their work with the Dead Space franchise.

There have been multiple clues within the game that suggest a possible sequel-remake might be just around the corner. In addition, recent comments from developers during an AMA session further confirmed their commitment to the franchise, which is what fans need to hear.

On Reddit, a developer shared “We’ve said both internally and externally that we’d be interested in continuing our work on the Dead Space franchise”. Another proof of their commitment to the franchise. “There’s numerous factors that need to be taken into account at a studio and company level but first, the team will take a well deserved vacation before determining what’s next. :)” – he continued.

Motive Studio has revealed that they are exploring the possibility of introducing suit-related DLC for players to look forward to, though nothing is currently certain. Furthermore, there are no plans in motion for any additional difficulty settings within their game at this time.

Dead Space is a stellar installment in the survival horror genre, and its remake has truly outdone itself. Not only does it feature all of the classic elements that made this game such an incredible experience, to begin with, but also adds smart innovations which make for even more thrilling gameplay than before.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
