It is unclear how this game could be described as a chill apocalyptic builder, but to be fair, that is what caught my eye in the first place. So I went and checked it out.
Announced by tinyBuild and Mandragora, the “chill apocalyptic” game titled I Am Future is heading to Early Access (PC, via Steam) on May 18th, 2023. A lot of waiting after that cryogenic sleep.
Your character will be awakened after many years, and you will find yourself on a stranded (literally) rooftop. That rooftop is surrounded by ocean, and by now your mind is puzzled: What happened? Where is everybody?
The bad news is that your people left you there, but you will navigate through the strange world and find joy in repairing all that has been damaged. You will learn how to grow things too.
