There are certain Pokemon in Pokemon Go that have rarely been used for events, but that is all changing with the Pokemon named Vulpix.
Starting February 12th, 2023, at 12:00 a.m. and ending the same day at 11:59 p.m. local time, Vulpix will be guaranteed to appear from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. as a Field Research reward encounter. As a plus, Trainers will have an increased chance of encountering Shiny Vulpix.
The bonuses will be available throughout the whole event, and are as follows:
- 4x Stardust from win rewards
- The maximum number of sets played will be increased from five to 20 (a total of 100 battles)
Another “bonus” Trainers will have during the GO Battle Day event is the Premium track reward. Each reward that is a win reward will be a rewarding encounter.
The Leagues that will be active are Ultra League and Love Cup GL Edition.
Now, it would not be a Pokemon Go event if there isn’t a fun Timed Research. The Timed Research that will be available during the whole event will be revolved around battling, and the end rewards will be an unknown amount of XP, Rare Candy, an Elite Charge TM, and a Vulpix encounter.

- Battle in the GBL 5 times: 7500 XP
- Battle in the GBL 10 times: 7500 XP
- Use 10 supereffective Charged Attacks: 7500 XP
- Powet up Pokemon 10 times: 7500 XP
- Rewards: 3 Rare Candy, Elite Charged TM, and Vulpix
Last but not least, if you evolve Vulpix into Ninetales during the event, you will get a Ninetales that knows the Fast Attack Ember.
