Battlefield 2042 Update 4.0.1 Arrives Tomorrow

Battlefield 2042 is receiving its 4.0.1 update, which focuses on improving the quality-of-life for players and balancing the game following the launch of Season 4: Eleventh Hour. The update includes fixes for various issues, such as AI soldiers not spawning correctly during the Prologue stages and audio adjustments for voice lines and the X6-Infiltration Device. Gadgets like the M18 Claymore and Tracer Dart have also been improved, with changes to their functionality and duration.

Players can also expect improvements in gadget targeting issues, such as the Designated UI Indicator and Tracer Dart not working correctly on moving targets. The update also includes changes to Specialists, such as Crawford’s Critical Repair Trait being reduced from 100% bonus repair amount to 40%, and Irish’s APS-36 Shootdown Sentinel no longer intercepting C5. Lis’ G-84 TGM missiles will now correctly detonate when impacting Dozer’s Ballistic Shield.

It’s worth noting that Battlefield 2042 has come a long way since its initial release, with each new season bringing significant changes and updates to the game. EA Dice has done an excellent job of listening to player feedback and addressing concerns with each update, improving the overall gameplay experience. The community’s feedback has been instrumental in the game’s development, and the development team has been proactive in engaging with the community and implementing changes based on their feedback.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
