UPDATE: As per ESL’s Twitter, some already have access to the new version of Counter-Strike. Other notable accounts have speculated that we’ll be crowned with a new CS2 trailer but also a release of a new Counter-Strike version. Here you go:

The official Twitter banner for CS:GO has been updated, making many fans wonder if a new Counter-Strike version is on the horizon. The banner replaced the five counter-terrorist figures. The insomnia is about to kick in once again, as I cannot wait for this release too. We’re all fans of the traditional yet unique shooter, and waiting to slide on the promised 128-tick servers is unbearable.

Valve Corporation, the developer behind the popular Counter-Strike franchise, has recently filed several trademarks related to CS2 and Counter-Strike, further fueling speculation about a new release. With the updated banner now live, fans are eagerly anticipating the arrival of a new Counter-Strike version on the Source 2 engine.
