Dead Island 2 Early Gameplay Details Revealed

Previews are coming as soon as next week.

Dead Island 2, the highly-anticipated action role-playing game from Dambuster Studios and Deep Silver, has been shrouded in mystery since its initial announcement in 2014. However, in recent weeks, video game media outlets and content creators have been given exclusive access to play the game ahead of releasing their impressions. Here are some early gameplay details that have been revealed.

As per Insider-Gaming, players will start the game in a plane that crashes into Beverley Hills, where they will be able to choose one of six playable characters: Amy, Jacob, Dani, Ryan, Carla, or Bruno. The game focuses on fighting off hordes of zombies using an array of weapons, and early reports suggest that the gameplay is solid and enjoyable.

One new feature of Dead Island 2 is the skill card system, which enables players to redeem cards for different skills and upgrades throughout the game. The game offers a variety of zombie types and many different ways to kill them, making it a fun and replayable experience.

One area where the game may fall short, according to early impressions, is the story. While the gameplay is entertaining, the plot may not be as compelling as it could be. Nonetheless, fans of the series are likely to be satisfied with the focus on killing zombies with creative weapons.

It is worth noting that these are only early impressions, and official media reviews are set to be released in the coming days. Nonetheless, Dead Island 2 is shaping up to be an exciting addition to the zombie survival genre, with its fast-paced gameplay, creative weapons, and new skill card system.
