Destiny 2 Servers go Down for Maintenance, Details and more

Destiny 2 players are bracing for the game’s latest maintenance period, during which Hotfix 7.0.0.3 is expected to be implemented. The game is now brought offline and will remain unavailable until 12 PM PST. Since the Lightfall expansion, most of us have had a bumpy ride without having the demanded and smooth gameplay experience. Hopefully this maintenance will do the trick.

Either way, players can rest assured that the development team is working hard to address any issues and ensure the game remains stable and enjoyable for all players. While the maintenance period may cause some inconvenience, it is an essential part of the ongoing development and improvement of Destiny 2.

Fireteams all over the world will have 48 hours to complete the raid in Contest Mode. The first fireteam to finish every encounter, loot the final chest, and return to orbit will have their victory immortalized with Root of Nightmares World First raid belts.

Destiny 2 7.0.0.3 Patch Notes

It’s sad to see Bungie skipping the publication of the official patch notes for quite some time now. This has left many players speculating about what fixes and updates to expect when the game comes back online. If we get to know something, we’ll update the section below. So far, this is what we have:

8:00 AM PST	-8 UTC	Destiny 2 will undergo maintenance. Sign-on and game integration features will be unavailable on web, mobile, 3rd-party apps, and the Bungie Store. Players who observe issues should report to the #Help forum.
8:45 AM PST	-8 UTC	Destiny 2 will be brought offline for expected maintenance. Players will be removed from activities and won’t be able to log back in until 9 AM PST. Ongoing Destiny maintenance is expected to conclude at 10 AM PST.
9:00 AM PST	-8 UTC	Hotfix 7.0.0.3 will be available across all platforms and regions. Players will be able to log back into Destiny 2. Players logging into the game may be placed in a queue and may experience sign-on issues as background maintenance is still ongoing.
10:00 AM PST	-8 UTC	Destiny 2 maintenance is expected to conclude. Console players who encounter issues updating to 7.0.0.3 should restart their console and try downloading the Hotfix. Players who observe issues should report to the #Help forum.
