New World Update 1.8.4 Set to Address Locked Item Issues, Patch Notes and more

Amazon Games is set to release a new patch, version 1.8.4, for its popular MMORPG game, New World, on March 7th. The upcoming update is expected to include a range of improvements and bug fixes that should improve the overall gameplay experience for players.

New World Update 1.8.4 downtime will begin at 11 PM PT on March 7 and marks the end of the Legacy of Crassus event.

One of the main issues addressed in the update is related to locked items. Previously, players experienced issues with locked items displaying incorrectly, preventing them from being deposited into storage. However, the new patch is expected to fix these problems, ensuring that locked items display properly and can be stored in the appropriate location.

The patch will also address other issues reported by players in areas such as World Experience, Faction Missions, Combat, Crafting, and UX/UI/Social features. For instance, players will no longer be able to bypass the PvP Faction Mission requirements and complete Patrol Territory quests, and the patch will prevent abilities from being used multiple times without cooldowns.

Other improvements expected in the patch include fixes to an issue that caused crafting attempts to fail and deliver the message “Crafting attempt failed”. The update will also prevent the leave Company pop-up from appearing every time players speak to their Faction representative.
