Pokemon Go’s April Fools’ Day event focuses on Pidgey. During the event, you will see more Pidgey in the wild, more XXS and XXL Pidgey, complete the Special Research Pidgey Pandemonium, and the Bonus Event Timed Research.
The Pidgey Pandemonium Special Research has two stages and you don’t need a ticket to access it – finally, something for free.

Pidgey Pandemonium Step 1
- Catch 10 Pokemon: 2 Poke Ball
- Transfer 10 Pokemon: 5 Potion
- Make 5 Nice Throws: 5 Nanav Berry
- Rewards: 1000 Stardust, Pidgey, and 5 Razz Berry
Pidgey Pandemonium Step 2
- Claim Reward: 10 Ultra Ball
- Claim Reward: 5 Hyper Potion
- Claim Reward: 3500 XP
- Rewards: 3000 Stardust, Pidgey, and 15 Pidgey Candy
The Pidgey Pandemonium Special Research is available to claim from Saturday, April 1, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. to Saturday, April 1, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. local time.
