Pokemon Go Player Invites Friends to Raids Every 30 Seconds

Trainers, this is something we like to see stay in Pokemon Go, a feature we think everyone would like to see in the game.

A Pokemon Go player reported on the official TSR Reddit that he was able to invite three groups of five friends to a Raid every 30 seconds after the latest update v265. He was kind enough to share a video, and a lot of players agreed to see this stay as a feature.

Here is the explanation and the thread.

Can Invite Friends To Raid Every 30 Seconds on v265 from TheSilphRoad

Now, according to the Pokemon Go Help Center “Inviting Friends to Raid Battles” article, a section says, “While you can only invite up to 5 friends at a time, after a short cooldown period you can invite more friends to the same lobby if you’d like.” This is confirmed to be a feature but this is the first time hearing about it.

What is your thought about this? Did you know about this?

  1. You could already do that you just had to leave the lobby and rejoin. Hopefully you’re saying you can do it more easily now. Only 10 can remotely join a raid though even if you invite more.
