Pokemon Go Players are not Happy with the Remote Raid Changes, Boycott Incoming?

Trainers, Niantic and Pokemon Go are making changes to Remote Raids, and many players are not happy with their decision.
Remote Raids are a very important feature in Pokemon Go. The Remote Raids allow players to join Raids remotely and brought many players back into the game. They launched this feature back in 2020, and it was a great and very helpful feature. Well, now they decided to make some changes, and the community is not happy about it.
They are planning to increase the prices of the Remote Raid Passes, and we will be able to participate in a maximum of five Remote Raids per day. Pokemon Go players say that Niantic and Pokemon Go are punishing Remote Raids and this is not going to end up good for many local communities. Some players even want to boycott the game.
Here are the changes:
- Remote Raid Pass prices are 1 for 195, and 3 for 525. Previous prices 1 for 100 and 3 for 300
- Premium Raid Pass pack 250 for 3
- Max 5 Remote Raids per day
- Remote Raid Passes drop from Research Breakthroughs but is still subject to the limit of 3 passes that you can hold
- Trainers who participate in five-star raids in person will earn more Candy XL than before
The official TSR Reddit decided to make a thread about it, where players can give feedback. Here are some of the comments. If you want to see the full thread, you can check it out here.

We would like to hear your opinion about the Remote Raid changes. Do you think they made a smart change? If you ask me, I don’t agree with this change.
