Trainers, two additional steps (four and five) from the Masterwork Research Wish Granted have been revealed, which means we are on step five out of six. Completing the fifth stage will grant you Shiny Jirachi encounter. Great, right?
Masterwork Research Wish Granted offers six different steps. Each step has different tasks, rewards, and Pokemon encounters. Here is a list of rewards one would get by completing the quest:
- 20 Jirachi Candy, 10 Groudon Candy, 10 Kyogre Candy, and 10 Rayquaza Candy
- 9 Rare Candy
- 20405 XP
- 12700 Stardust
- 2 Poffins
- 2 Incense
- 30 Ultra Balls
- Shiny Jirachi encounter (after completing stage 5)
Please note that you must play between February 20, 2023, at 10 AM, and March 20, 2023, at 10 AM PT to receive all the special event bonuses.
As we mentioned above, there are a total of six steps that one must complete, and we are now only missing the last stage. That said, we have all tasks and rewards from Stage four and Stage five, and the most interesting thing is that players can encounter Shiny Jirachi after completing the Step five of the Wish Granted Research.

- Have 10 Best Buddies – 1 Poffin
- Earn a heart with your Buddy 20 days in a row: Poffin
- Rewards: 385 XP, and 3 Rare Candy

- Catch 10 Kecleon: 1 Incense
- Spin PokeStops 20 days in a row: Incense
- Rewards: 3850 XP, and 3 Rare Candy
Wish Granted Step 4/6
- Get a Lucky Trade: 1 Lure
- Make 100 Excellent Throws: Lucky Egg
- Rewards: 2850 XP, and 3 Rare Candy
Wish Granted Step 5/6
- Catch 500 Pokemon: 1000 Stardust
- Catch a Pokemon 7 days in a row: 7 Golden Razz Berry
- Reach Lvl 40: 4000 Stardust
- Rewards: 3850 XP, Shiny Jirachi, and 3850 Stardust
