A new season has just started in Pokemon Go, and it is called Rising Heroes. Seasons are not the only thing that is changing in Pokemon Go. Raid Hour events are changing too. Not in a major way, only the Pokemon that will be participating in the events.
Raid Hour events, similar to Spotlight Hour events, happen every Wednesday in a month for one hour. The Raid Hour events are focused on Raid Bosses and their immense power, including rare Pokemon and Legendary Pokemon. During that one hour, a huge number of Five-Star Raids pop up, giving Trainers a number of chances to defeat the Raid Boss and catch it. If you remember, the Raid Hour events had a rough start, where they were scheduled to happen around midday, instead of the evenings.
Since then, many things improved and now Raid Hour is in the love pool alongside Spotlight Hour. Since its creation, Raid Hour has always been like a pre-game to any big event or Season, so there is a high chance for Trainers to get additional Raid Hour events.
