S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl to be featured in NVIDIA’s GDC presentation

GSC Game World‘s highly-anticipated open-world shooter, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl, is set to be featured in NVIDIA’s upcoming presentation at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2023. The session, titled “S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Next-Gen Game Development with NVIDIA Omniverse Audio2Face“, will be presented by Anton Riabchuk, the 3D Animator at GSC Game World.

The session, which is set to take place on Thursday, March 23, will focus on next-gen game development using NVIDIA’s Omniverse Audio2Face technology. The presentation is sponsored by NVIDIA and is expected to offer insights into how the developers are adopting generative AI technology in their content creation workflows, the workflow challenges in facial animation and localization process, and the Omniverse Audio2Face AI SDK and the challenges it helps solve.

While the presentation is not expected to showcase gameplay, it will offer valuable insights into the latest technology used in game development and how it is being applied to the game. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl is one of the most anticipated games of 2023 and is set to release by the end of the year for both Xbox Series X/S and PC. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world, where players must navigate through Chornobyl’s radioactive wasteland while encountering dangerous mutants and bizarre anomalies.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
