System Shock Remake Postponed

Shodan the all-knowing AI will be waiting at the door for a little longer, as the game System Shock (remake) is officially postponed.

As announced by Prime Matter and Nightdive Studios, it has been decided that the System Shock remake will be delayed from its original March release window to May 30th, 2023. However, the System Shock remake will release on PC on May 30th, 2023. The console version of the game will be released at a later date.

Here is part of Nightdive Studios’ statement:

“We had hoped to bring the game to the market by the end of March, but that turned out to be just beyond our reach,”

“We are after all merely human (unlike Shodan!)”

How do you feel about this delay?
