Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey Surpasses 1.5 Million Sales

Panache Digital Games has announced that their survival game, Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, has achieved an impressive new sales milestone, surpassing 1.5 million units sold worldwide. The game previously reached the one million units milestone in May 2021. The game’s success had allowed the development team to grow from just seven members when the project began to 50, with more additions expected.

Panache Digital expressed its excitement over the recent milestone on Twitter:

We are thrilled to announce that Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey has achieved a significant milestone, selling over 1.5 million units worldwide. When we started working on Ancestors, our team consisted of just 7 members. Today, we are 50 strong and growing!

Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is directed by Patrice D√©silets, known for his work on the popular Assassin’s Creed series, including the first game, its sequel, and Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood. Set in prehistoric times, players take control of an ape in a Hominid clan. They must navigate the challenges of survival, evolution, and resource management while warding off predators and adapting to the harsh environment.
