Dead Island 2 Sold Over 1 Million Copies After Three Days on Sale

Dead Island 2 is breaking records, and according to the devs, the game sold over 1 million copies after three days of sale.
April 21, 2023, Dead Island 2 made its debut on the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. Now, after just three days, the game sold more than 1 million copies and fans are loving it.
As per the devs, more than 1 million copies of Dead Island 2 sold in the first weekend. 11 million – total hours played, 28 million – total player deaths (over twice the population of Los Angeles), 45 million – zombies sliced in half, 756 million – zombie limbs hacked off, and 1.1 billion – total number of zombies slayed. Cool, right?
The game was just released and it’s already breaking records. The next two months are coming in pretty strong with Jedi Survivor, Redfall, FFXVI, and other cool titles, so let’s see if Dead Island 2 can survive the wave and keeps on going.
