Destiny 2 Servers Will Go Down for Hotfix 7.0.5.1, Scheduled Maintenance, Notes and more

Bungie has announced that Destiny 2 servers will go down today for scheduled maintenance to deploy Hotfix 7.0.5.1. The maintenance will include various fixes and improvements to the game, ensuring a smoother gaming experience for all players.

Destiny 2 maintenance will start at 9:00 AM PDT (-7 UTC), and the game will become unavailable. The downtime is expected to last until 11:00 AM PDT (-7 UTC).

ACTIVITIES

RAID

Fixed an issue where the raid jacket director dialog was appearing after the March 21 deadline to unlock the purchase.
Adjusted brightness and flashing in the Daughters of Oryx encounter.

UI/UX

Fixed an issue where gauntlets would not equip when changing loadouts.
Fixed an issue where opening the loadout menu could cause Destiny 2 to crash.

GAMEPLAY AND INVESTMENT

WEAPONS

Fixed an issue where making changes to the weapon in an inventory after selecting the weapon to reshape would not automatically update to the item in the reshape slot.

PLATFORMS AND SYSTEMS

Fixed an issue where too many particle effects in certain areas on Neptune could cause Destiny 2 to crash.

9:00 AM PDT	-7 UTC	Destiny 2 will undergo maintenance. Sign-on and game integration features will be unavailable on web, mobile, 3rd-party apps, and the Bungie Store. Players who observe issues should report to the #Help forum.
9:30 AM PDT	-7 UTC	Destiny 2 will be brought offline for expected maintenance. Players will be removed from activities and won’t be able to log back in until 10 AM PDT. Ongoing Destiny maintenance is expected to conclude at 11 AM PDT.
10:00 AM PDT	-7 UTC	Hotfix 7.0.5.1 will be available across all platforms and regions. Players will be able to log back into Destiny 2. Players logging into the game may be placed in a queue and may experience sign-on issues as background maintenance is still ongoing.
11:00 AM PDT	-7 UTC	Destiny 2 maintenance is expected to conclude. Console players who encounter issues updating to 7.0.5.1 should restart their console and try downloading the Hotfix. Players who observe issues should report to the #Help forum.

Please note that these are general expectations, and the detailed patch notes will be released by Bungie once the Hotfix is live. As always, we’ll update this once they are revealed.
