Granblue Fantasy: Versus Rising Online Beta Test Postponed Until Further Notice

The upcoming member of the Granblue Fantasy Versus series has been getting some obstacles, and the latest one is the online beta test.

As it was announced in the past, the gaming family was supposed to get an online beta test of the upcoming title Granblue Fantasy: Versus Rising in May 2023, but that will not happen at least not in the next few months.

Cygmes and Arc System Works have published that they will be postponing the online beta test for Granblue Fantasy: Versus Rising, and unfortunately, they did not announce a new release date, instead, they have stated that ” as soon as things have settled” they will publish a new date.

Here is the full message:

“We are sorry to announce that the Granblue Fantasy: Versus Rising online beta has been delayed from its previously scheduled May release.

The game is currently experiencing stability issues during online play. While we realize that some bumpiness is to be expected during beta testing, we would still like to put our best foot forward and ensure we deliver as enjoyable an experience as possible.

We will announce a new date as soon as things have settled. To everyone who has been looking forward to the Granblue Fantasy: Versus Rising experience, you have our sincerest apologies.

In order to test our recent implementation of rollback netcode, we will be launching a closed pre-access beta, followed shortly by an open beta. For those who would like to participate in the pre-access beta, registration will open when we announce the updated schedule.

Thank you for your patience.

—Creative Director Tetsuya Fukuhara”
