Update April 20, 2023: Trainers, rwaterbender updated the soloable Legendary Raids graphic, adding one more Legendary Pokemon. Virizion is the new soloable Legendary Pokemon, so here is how to defeat it solo.
Virizion can be soloed when windy, using Mega Pidgeot, Shadow Moltres, and Shadow Staraptor as counters.

Previous Story: Trainers, one Pokemon Go player made a graphic that shows all soloable Legendary 5-star Raids, and this is something we all must have.
The Pokemon Go player made a list of all soloable Legendary Raids and was kind enough to share his findings on the official TSR Reddit. The analysis is getting a lot of attention and positive comments and is currently trending on TSR.
The graphic shows 14 Legendary Pokemon, their difficulty, weather, and what Pokemon one should use to defeat a Legendary Raid solo.
Legendary Pokemon Solo Raids
- Deoxys Attack Forme: any weather
- Pheromosa: any weather, and Flying-type Pokemon as a counter
- Guzzlord: any weather, and Fairy-type Pokemon as a counter
- Genesect: sunny weather, and Fire-type Pokemon as a counter
- Kartana: sunny weather, and Fire-type Pokemon as a counter
- Buzzwole: windy weather, and Mega Pidgeot and Shadow Moltres as counters
- Rayquaza: snow weather, and Shadow Mamoswine as a counter
- Moltres: partly cloudy, and Mega Aerodactyl, Rampardos, and Shadow Tyranitar as counters
