Pokemon Go Diancie & Carbink Debut for Go Fest 2023?

Trainers, Niantic and Pokemon Go announced the dates and locations for the Go Fest 2023 event. They didn’t share any other details, but if you look at this year’s Go Fest logo, you will see two gems, pink and blue. These gems could represent two possible Pokemon, so let’s start speculating which Pokemon they might be.

Pokemon Go Fest 2023 will run in different cities across the globe, and players can look forward to two gameplay areas in each town. The Go Fest 2023 will take place in London, England; Osaka, Japan; and NYC, USA. London and Osaka Go Fest will go live on August 4, 5, and 6, 2023, while the NYC will run on August 18, 19, and 20. Pokemon Go players can also enjoy a two-day Go Fest 2023 Global event on August 26, and August 27, 2023.

If you take a closer look at the Go Fest 2023 logo, you will notice two different color gems, one blue, and two pink. These gems could mean two things – the blue gem Carbink, and the pink gem the Mythical Pokemon Diancie.

Niantic is a little bit slow when it comes to releasing new Mega Pokemon. There is a whole process when it comes to releasing a Mega Pokemon, and to have a new Mega Pokemon, we need to have the regular Pokemon. Then comes the Shiny form, and then comes the Mega form. So Niantic need to pick up their pace and release Diancie if they want to put out the Mega Pokemon in less than 5 years. The Pokemon Go Fest 2023 is the perfect event for Diancie’s debut, but nothing has been officially confirmed yet.

The blue gem could hint at Carbink’s release. Carbink has a grey rock-like body, light blue crystals, bright blue eyes, and a white fluffy color – a blue gem, right?

Now, the world’s greatest miners discovered a Pokemon Go treasure map, “a gem hunt.” this fits perfectly with the treasure hunt motif. This doesn’t prove Diancie and Carbink’s debut, it’s just speculation.

What do you think about this theory? Would you like to see the Mythical Pokemon Diancie and Carbink during the Go Fest 2023? For last, please have in mind that nothing is officially confirmed.
