Pokemon Go Don’t Update to 0.269.0 Yet, Increased Crashing on Android Devices Report

Trainers, it looks like the latest Pokemon Go update causes constant crashes on Android, and Niantic is looking into it.

The latest Pokemon Go update 269 causes increased crashing on Android devices for some players, and it looks like the issue is on their side. Niantic and Pokemon Go acknowledged the issue and are currently investigating.

What happens is the game crashes on the loading screen or before the map loads with the latest 0.269.0 update. Now, the miners warned us about the ‘crashing on update’ issue on April 24, 2023. They said the issue is not widespread (back then), and the game keeps constantly crashing after updating the game. They recommend doing a fresh game install if the game keeps crashing after updating it to version 0.269.0.

There is no info about what seems to be causing this issue yet, but we do expect an official announcement soon.

In other news, Niantic and Pokemon Go announced the dates and locations for the Go Fest 2023, so feel free to check it out below. Rumors say that Diancie and Carbink will be making their Pokemon Go debut during the Go Fest, so let’s see what they have up in their sleeve.
