UPDATE Pokemon Go May 2023 Community Day Wish List

Update: Trainers, Niantic and Pokemon Go announced May 2023 Community Day event.

  1. That’s a horrible list… like awful. Do you all play the game? Some obvious meta duh 3 tier in there and some links to newer games in basculin and growlithe, but otherwise? You’ve got several that are already perma boosted like onix and sneazel. Cacnea was apart of this year’s tour. Shuppet or zubat in May… not likely. Mankey and marril already had special research days. Suggesting skipping over froakie or fennekin for Rowlett, popplio or litten is just a dumb thing to add on this list. And I’m pretty sure the remaining fanbase will riot if we get another scrubby lazy useless bird.

    1. I don’t think the author meant equally likely May com days. I think they meant likely near term com day pokemon, or most likely to have one sooner than later. But I agree, I think there are a lot listed i/we don’t really want.

    1. Roggenrola, Shinx, and Beldum already had community days. They might be used again for a classic community day though

    1. All those except Axew already had community days. They wouldn’t show up in May but might in a classic community day

  2. 85% of that list is garbage… Maybe 90. But I’d like to see froakie, absol, axew, azurill, basculine, and maybe Growlithe.. I mean if I had to choose. How about choose some of the rare Pokemon for a change.. now that is why we play the game.

  3. BRING BACK LONG EVENT HOURS FOR COMM DAY! 10am-10pm! For those who can’t play during the insanely short event hours! I would love to offer my vote for which mon I would like to see in Mays comm day and/or next couple comm days, but unfortunately my career requires me to work weekends sometimes until 6pm or later. Ever since Niantic foolishly decided to cut community day time slot to just 3 hours from 2-5pm I’ve only been able to participate during these annoyingly short events which were already very difficult to participate in for some people who typically aren’t available midday hours on weekends so I was only able to participate for a couple hours before work starts at noon. So from 10-12 I was able to participate then after work if I was lucky for another hour or 2 until 8 pm when the event ended then still had time to evolve forr another few hours to still try landing a shiny comm day mon with it’s special move & acceptable GBL IV’s… The shortened hours of. Comm day has left me unable to participate in the last 4 or maybe 5 months. It’s become such a bummer that it’s making me lose interest in a game I’ve religiously played consistently nearly every day since 2016!!… So if anybody else wants LONGER HOURS during community day events please make it known in every comment section for others who agree & maybe make enough of a fuss that Niantic will stop making these stupidly short events which excludes a huge portion of players who want to participate but can not due to strict schedules which take priority over games. Thank you for hearing me rant!

I love Growlithe for community day

Also, if I want to spend my money to buy 50 passes a day why are you limiting me to 5? I’m 63 years old and I feel like a teen being controlled over how many remotes I can buy. Really? I’ve never heard of business like this where you encourage people to spend LESS?
Can I please spend my money how I want? I’m old enough to decide how many passes I choose to do in a 24 hour period
