Pokemon Go Shiny Drilbur Catch Rate is Very Low

Trainers, shiny Drilbur made its Pokemon Go debut and is available to catch in the wild, from 7 km Eggs, after completing specific Field Research tasks, and the Sustainability Week 2023 Timed Research. Many players want to know how rare shiny Drilbur is and what’s the shiny catch rate, so we decided to gather info and let you know the numbers.

The Pokemon Go Sustainability Week 2023 event introduced shiny Drilbur in the game. Pokemon Go players can encounter shiny Driblur in the wild, 7 km Eggs, as a Field Research encounter, and by completing the Timed Research. Some players were lucky enough to catch shiny Drilbur, while some didn’t have a chance to encounter one yet.

The odds of encountering shiny Drilbur in Pokemon Go are approximately 1 in 500, which is very low. Hopefully, Niantic and Pokemon Go will increase the shiny odds by the end of the event, and make it easier for everyone to get at least one shiny Drilbur.

Have you caught a shiny Drilbur yet? If yes, we would like to know how many encounters did it take to get one? Let us know in the comments below.

  1. Nope. Been looking, but I forgot Sunday was the Stunfisk day, so my attempt that day was foiled. I did, however, get my second shiny Weedle this month… yay…

  2. I just got my first shiny drilbur today. The day this comment went up. It took me since the event and I’ve encountered around 100 give or take a few.
