Trainers, the last Spotlight Hour in Pokemon Go for April 2023 starts today, featuring Tangela, shiny Tangela, and 2x Catch Stardust.
The Pokemon Go Spotlight featuring Tangela starts today, April 25, 2023, from 6-7 PM local time. During this period players will see more Tangela spawning in the wild and encounter shiny Tangela. The odds of getting shiny Tangela are 1 in 25. The featured bonus for the Tangela Spotlight Hour event is 2x Catch Stardust.
Make sure to use a Star Piece. Star Pieces increase the amount of Stardust you earn by 50% for a limited period of time. You can also activate up to 200 Star Pieces at a time to stack the duration of their effects instead of using one every 30 minutes.
Niantic and Pokemon Go revealed what’s coming in May 2023, and to be honest, this is one of the better months. May 2023 brings different Spotlight Hour Pokemon, and here is the list:
- Alolan Geodude and 2x Catch XP on May 2
- Ponyta and 2x Catch Candy on May 9

- Houndour and 2x Catch Stardust on May 30
