Pokemon Go Sustainability Week 2023 Event Featuring Bounsweet

Trainers, the time has come when we can get excited about an event that is dear to us all, and that event is Sustainability Week 2023.

Starting April 20th, 2023, and ending April 26th, 2023, we will have the delight to meet with the newest Pokemon in the game, Bounsweet. Its evolutions will also join us, and they are Steenee and Tsareena.

During the whole Sustainability Week 2023 event, the Pokemon that will be featured as wild encounters are the following:

  • Squirtle
  • Shellder
  • Wailmer
  • Drilbur
  • Cottonee
  • Petilil
  • Dwebble
  • Foongus
  • Froakie
  • Larvitar
  • Binacle
  • Bounsweet

From 2km Eggs, the Pokemon that will be hatching during the Sustainability Week 2023 are the following:

  • Cherubi
  • Drilbur
  • Bounsweet

A Pokemon Go event would not be complete without bonuses, so the bonuses that will be active during the whole Sustainability Week 2023 event are:

  • If your Buddy Pokemon is an Ultra Buddy or higher, it will bring you souvenirs more frequently
  • If your Buddy Pokemon is a Great Buddy or higher, it will bring you leaf-wrapped gifts more frequently. These gifts will have Berries more often, including Silver Pinap Berry
  • Your Buddy Pokemon will accompany you on the map longer after being fed
  • 1/2 distance to earn hearts with your Buddy Pokemon

Besides all these bonuses, Pokemon and Eggs, there will also be a Timed Research during Sustainability Week 2023, where Trainers will be granted encounters with Drilbur, Trubbish and Bounsweet among all other things. The Pokemon that will be available as a Field Research task encounter is Drilbur.

Last but not least, there will be event-inspired avatar items in the in-game shop.

What are your thoughts on Sustainability Week 2023? What would you add or change?
