Sony has announced the acquisition of Washington-based Firewalk Studios, a talented developer working on an unannounced multiplayer IP in partnership with PlayStation. Firewalk Studios will now be fully acquired by Sony, making it the 20th member of the PlayStation Studios family.

Firewalk Studios was initially part of the independent game company ProbablyMonsters before partnering with PlayStation in 2021.
