Super Bomberman R 2 Coming Out In September with Exciting New Modes and Cross-Play

Konami has confirmed the release date for its multiplayer game, Super Bomberman R 2. According to Gematsu, the game will launch in North America on September 13, followed by Europe and Japan on September 14. A physical release is also slated for North America on September 12.

Super Bomberman R 2 will be available on multiple platforms, including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam. The game will support cross-play, allowing players from various platforms to enjoy the action together.

The new trailer released by Konami showcases the different game modes and features that players can look forward to. Alongside the classic Battle mode, Super Bomberman R 2 will introduce a Grand Prix mode, where players compete for crystals and KOs, and the highly anticipated Battle 64, a battle royale mode that supports up to 64 players simultaneously.

The Castle mode is one of the most exciting additions to Super Bomberman R 2. In this mode, players are divided into two teams: Attackers and Defenders. Attackers aim to find keys and unlock treasure chests scattered across the stage, while Defenders are tasked with protecting these chests from their opponents.

Key features of Super Bomberman R 2 include:

  • Enjoy four exciting battle modes, including the new Castle mode.
  • Battle against players of similar skill levels from around the world in online matches.
  • Customize battle modes and rules for online matches with friends.
  • Connect additional controllers and play with family and friends on a single console.
  • Create, play, share, and explore various custom stages using the Stage Editor function.
  • Embark on an enhanced Story Mode, visiting new planets with Bomberman’s new friends, the Ellons, to face the threats of the universe.

That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
