A Valorous Hero Special Research Quest Tasks & Rewards Pokemon Go

Trainers, the Team Valor-themed event is underway and you can now encounter Mega Pinsir, Shiny Mega Pinsir, and Candela Ponyta via the Special Research story.

The A Valorous Hero Special Research is a new Research introduced in Pokemon Go as part of the A Valorous Hero event. This Special Research has four different stages, and those who complete the A Valorous Hero Research will be rewarded with an encounter with Candela Ponyta.

Please have in mind that the only way to encounter Candela Ponyta is via Special Research. Also, don’t forget about the two-stage Timed Research for a Fast, and Charged TM.

Pokemon Go A Valorous Hero Special Research Stages, Tasks, and Rewards

A Valorous Hero Stage 1/4

• Catch 15 Pokemon: 10 Poke Ball
• Use 15 Berries to help catch Pokemon: 10 Razz Berry
• Power up Pokemon 5 times: 1000 Stardust
• Rewards: 1500 XP, and Charmander

A Valorous Hero Stage 2/4

• Use 5 Supereffective Charged Attacks: 10 Pinap Berry
• Power up Pokemon 10 times: 2000 Stardust
• Battle 3 Team Go Rocket members: 3 Revive
• Rewards: 2000 XP, and Stufful

A Valorous Hero Stage 3/4

• Catch 15 Pokemon: 15 Great Ball
• Power up Pokemon 15 times: 2500 Stardust
• Battle in a Gym 3 times: 5 Revive
• Rewards: 2500 XP, and Candela Ponyta

A Valorous Hero Stage 4/4

• Claim Rewards: 80 Mega Charizard Energy
• Claim Rewards: 5 Hyper Potion
• Claim Rewards: 7 Revive
• Rewards: 2500 Stardust, and 2500 XP
