EA Addresses Disappearing Pre-Order and Deluxe Edition Items in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Respawn Entertainment‘s Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has been experiencing issues with pre-order and Deluxe Edition items disappearing for some players. Electronic Arts has confirmed they are investigating the case and has offered workarounds and suggestions to help players restore their missing content.

EA recommends players repair their game files and provided platform-specific workarounds. For Steam users, unchecking the DLC, starting the game, quitting, and then re-checking the DLC should make the items reappear. Xbox Series X/S users should sign out, restart the console, and sign back in. For PS5 users, the Restore Licenses option in the Other menu of Users and Accounts can download the items again.

Troubleshooting the loss to Pre-Order & Deluxe Edition bonuses

  • Troubleshoot missing Pre-Order and/or Deluxe Edition content for PC Steam:
    • Go to the manage DLC page of the game in Steam (on the store page) > uncheck the DLC (the Pre-Order & Deluxe Edition content) > start the game > quit the game > go re-checkmark the DLC again on the manage DLC page > launch game again.
    • Verify game files.
  • Troubleshoot missing Pre-Order and/or Deluxe Edition content for the PC EA app:
    • Open the EA app > Click My Collection > Click on the three dots on the game tile of the game and choose the Repair option.
  • Troubleshoot missing Pre-Order and/or Deluxe Edition content for the PC Epic Games Launcher:
  • To double-check if the extra content is correctly installed or not, please follow the steps in these help articles:
    • Xbox Series S|X
      • Alternative steps:
        • Close the game,
        • Sign out of your Xbox account on your console,
        • Restart the console,
        • Sign back into the Xbox account on your console,
        • The DLC entitlements should reappear for you after that.

EA and the development teams are investigating the issue, hoping to find a more permanent solution soon. In the meantime, players can try the workarounds above and ensure that their DLCs are installed correctly to regain access to their bonus items.
