We have some bad news folks, PixelOpus, the studio behind Concrete Genie is nearing its end.
Sadly, through a tweet, it was announced that PixelOpus is going to shut down on June 2nd, 2023. There were some mentions of upcoming titles from the studio, but we guess everything is currently up in air. What will happen with existing titles or planned upcoming titles by the studio was not disclosed to the public.

Here are a few words coming from Sony Interactive Entertainment regarding the situation:
“PlayStation Studios regularly evaluates its portfolio and the status of studio projects to ensure they meet the organization’s short and long-term strategic objectives. As part of a recent review process, it has been decided that PixelOpus will close on June 2.”
