Pokemon Go Adds the Option to Select Different Poke Ball “Master Ball?” For Shadow Pokemon Encounters

Niantic and Pokemon Go are working on a new item, the Master Ball. The Master Ball is not available at the moment of writing, but they are teasing the release, which means we are most likely going to learn more about it when the next Season starts.

We do have some interesting details about the Master Ball, the Ball that never misses, and we would like to share them with you all.

Here are three things we know about the Master Ball at the moment:

  1. The Master Ball can catch any Pokemon
  2. Pokemon Go players can’t purchase the Master Ball
  3. The Master Ball must be earned via quests

Now, let’s get back to the topic. We had a chance to encounter Shadow Shuckle, and when the catch screen opened, we noticed a small change. So small, but yet so big.

On the bottom right corner, you can now select different Poke Ball when encountering Shadow Pokemon. This means that when you can’t catch a specific Shadow Pokemon, you can tap on the Poke Ball selection option and select/choose the Master Ball, which can be used to catch any Pokemon without fail.

Here is Shadow Shuckle, the catch screen with the Poke Ball selection option during a Shadow Pokemon encounter, and what happens when you tap on it. Currently, you can only select the Premier Ball, because the Master Ball is not yet available.

The Master Ball release is right around the corner. Make sure to stay with us and get the latest Pokemon Go news.
