Pokemon Go Events May 2023

Pokemon Go is filled with many events, some boring, but some are quite exciting. The latter ones make our hearts skip a bit, and May 2023 is packed up with those.

Every start of the month means new content in Pokemon Go, and each time Niantic brings us better and better events (not all, but you get it). With these events, we fall back in love with the game that has our childhood Pocket Monsters, known as Pokemon.

As we mentioned, May 2023 is filled with new events, and they are the following:

  • An Instinctive Hero – beginning May 2nd, 2023, and ending May 8th, 2023, this event focuses on Spark, the Leader of Team Instinct. The featured Pokemon will be Elekid and Larvesta. The event will revolve around hatching Pokemon from Eggs. There will be a debut of two new Pokemon (Larvesta and Volcarona) and a Shiny Pokemon (Shiny Mantyke).
  • Raid Day – May 6th, 2023. The featured Pokemon during this event will be Kleavor, the Axe Pokemon.
  • A Valorous Hero – beginning May 11th, 2023, and ending May 17th, 2023. More information to be announced later.
  • Elite Raids – May 13th, 2023. A makeup event for the Elite Raid event that happened March 11th, 2023, and the Pokemon that will be featured is Regidrago. There will also be two exclusive Timed Research, featuring Regirock Candy, Regice Candy and Registeel Candy.
  • Community Day May 2023 – May 21st, 2023.  The Pokemon that will be featured as a Community Day Pokemon for May 2023 is Fennekin.
  • A surprise event – happening from May 22nd, 2023 until May 28th, 2023, Niantic will be hosting a surprise event. This event will begin at 10:00 a.m. and end at 8:00 p.m. local time.

Exciting, right? We ourselves are most excited for Community Day 2023, but what about you? Share with us which one is your too-excited-to-wait-this-long event.
